As previously mentioned in our site,
The Band has a modest operating budget which allows it to
fulfil its core functions. The Band is however committed to
always trying to reach more of the public of Western Australia
and must raise its own funds to do this - particularly to
cover the costs associated with travel. In short, additional
funding enables the band to travel more widely than is possible
with departmental funding alone. Direct support to the band
through subscriptions to the 'Friends of the Band' programme
or through other 'one-off' donations is one way of providing
support, and volunteering time and assistance to band projects
is another.
