Lauren began learning the pipes at age 12 at Presbyterian Ladies' College under the tuition of Ailsa Miller, Kerry and Peter Jones. In 2005 she became pipe major of the PLC Pipe Band and took the band touring around England and Scotland in that year. After school, Lauren joined the Shadow Highlanders Pipe Band.

Currently Lauren hopes to improve her piping knowledge and skills whilst at WAPOL.
